Join us this time as we encounter a spirit who haunts the 86th floor of the Empire State Building. Evelyn McHale arrived at Penn Station back from Easton Pennsylvania.

Evelyn stopped at the Governor Clinton Hotel before walking to the Empire State Building.

At approximately, 10:40 AM on May 1, 1947, moments after people on 33rd Street heard an "explosive" crash. Robert Wiles Captured a photograph of Evelyn's body which was published in Life Magazine on May 12, 1947.

But did Evelyn McHale ever leave the Empire State Building? Some say no. Her ghost is said to haunt the 86th floor to this day.
